Thorns and Roses

Thorns and Roses

Count not the enemies but the friends so close.
Count not the burden but the lesson it shows.
Count not all the problem, you’ll get overdosed.
Count not the thorns but the petals of rose.

Let your heart weep for some time,
This is not a mistake, nor a crime.
Let your body feel the weariness,
As you relax and smell the fragrant roses.

Thorns are like the hundred struggles,
Thousand pains and million quarrels.
It may lead you to your fall down
But learn to smile and not to frown.

Rose’s petals are like rewards,
Like love letters written in post cards.
It gives happiness to everyone
After the sadness thorns have done.

After you have cried a thousand tears,
Lay with me and forget your fears.
Life is like a rose with many thorns—
There may be happiness and sadness in return.
